Left NY and Lady Liberty, said goodbye to the city, barges anchored, the gateway bridge to the ocean, and jet ferries. We were off to our 3rd anchorage just outside the harbour at Sandy Hook.

Taking pictures of our lovely anchorage but didn’t realize I was also taking pictures of a police boat. We got some nice photos and a watchful police boat as we pulled up anchor and left. Oh dear!

We left Waterford for the final lock before the Hudson River. A fleet of sailboats joined us, 6 in total, 3 from Quebec. Out of the locks we drifted far from them, taking in the sights on the Hudson River.
